Activities Coordinator

The successful candidate for this position will develop, coordinate and implement a well-rounded activities and enrichment program that provides opportunities for residents to participate in a well-balanced lifestyle while fulfilling physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • In coordination with all team members, evaluating the interests and abilities of residents to enable the development of a successful program to meet the resident needs and desired benefits.
  • Encouraging and coordinating participation in the programs.
  • Develop well-rounded and beneficial calendars of events and programs
  • Design monthly newsletters
  • Maintain departmental budget for supplies and programming
  • Maintain member attendance records.
  • Coordinate with Care Team on observations and assessments for possible change in conditions of our residents
  • Provides training for staff regarding Activities and volunteer services.
  • Communicate routinely with management team for successful communication and support for community and operations.
  • Active member of the management team
  • Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in social or recreational programming in a senior setting.
  • Experience with Memory Care and Dementia preferred,  but not required.
  • Certification for Activity Directors desired but not required.
  • Flexible Schedule     - 24 hours a week = prefer Monday, Thursday and Friday
