Responsibilities

The Corporate Director of Quality is responsible for providing regional support to Cornerstone Healthcare Group’s hospitals clinical and quality departments.  Directs the activities of hospital clinical services operations in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures to provide quality health care services and ensures a value focused care management culture.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provides guidance and ensures system-wide performance of CHG Hospitals clinical and quality services departments.
  • Provides guidance and ensures efficient performance in accordance with overall company and hospital goals and objectives as it relates to the clinical and quality services departments
  • Leads communications, data collection (to/from) between Corporate departments, Hospital Managers, and external entities.
  • Serves as a system-wide resource regarding state and federal regulations and JCAHO standards for all of Cornerstone.
  • Provides survey updates on all hospitals in region.
  • Orients all new quality personnel.
  • Creates, reviews, and revises all quality policies (e.g. Quality, Risk Management, Infection Control, Employee Health and Education) and other departments as assigned.
  • 75% travel required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of previous hospital management experience.
  • Maintain current Registered Nurse state board licensure. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally with all levels to perform job duties.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
